Wildlife safari to Kenya’s Southern National Parks with a drop off at the coast to unwind and relax after the safari. Amboseli ‘The home of Elephants’ lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Tsavo being the largest park in Kenya (at 22,000 sq km), comprises of Tsavo East and West with fantastic landscape.

Day 1:- Nairobi/Amboseli

Departing Nairobi at 0830 hrs, you drive via Namanga on the Tanzania border to reach Amboseli in time for lunch. We view game as we proceed towards the lodge. This park is the second most popular park in Kenya after Maasai Mara, mainly due to the spectacular backdrop of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the southern boundary. Stay at leisure as you wait for evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at a Lodge.

Day 2:- Amboseli

A full day in this photogenic park with extensive morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at the lodge.

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya, situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border. The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as The home of Elephants, some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of common Zebras, Wildebeests, masai Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos, Antelopes, lions, leopards, Cheetahs, impala, spotted hyenas, jackals, velvet monkeys, serval cats and many species of plain game. Amboseli boosts of a rich bird life with over 400 species recorded among them the Grey Crowned cranes, hamerkop, pelicans, kingfishers, Egyptian goose and many types of eagles.

Day 3:- Amboseli/Tsavo West

Early morning game drives return to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast leave for Tsavo West National Park. Visit the Mzima Springs, which are favorite haunts of both the hippo and crocodile that can be seen from an underwater observation chamber if time permits. Proceed to the Lodge for Check in and have lunch. Later enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Tsavo West covers a wide variety of landscapes, from swamps and natural springs to rocky peaks, extinct volcanic cones and rolling plains. The dramatic Chyulu Hills are a collection of ancient volcanic cinder cones with splendid views of Kilimanjaro and populations of elands, grant’s & Thompsons’ gazelles, warthog, lions, buffalo, elephants, rhino, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest, lesser kudu, hyrax, wilddogs, hartebeest, impala, mongoose among others. Birdlife is also in abundance to name but a few bee-eater, hornbills, gineafowl, sunbirds, secretary bird and ostriches.

Day 4:- Tsavo West/Tsavo East

You drive to Tsavo East after breakfast, viewing game as you leave the park. Tsavo East National park was famed for its large herds of elephant covered in red dust and fine scenery. We visit the scenic Lugards Falls, Mudanda Rocks (attracts elephants in the drier season) and Aruba Dam. Lunch at the lodge. After some rest, you embark on an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocs and hippos. Likewise, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks are common along the river banks.

Day 5:- Tsavo East National park.

Full day spent exploring the park with extensive morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight the Lodge.

The landscape in Tsavo East is flatter and drier, despite having one of Kenya’s largest rivers flowing through the middle. Much of the wildlife is concentrated on the Galana River, which has plentiful crocodiles and hippos. Among the common game includes elands, Kudus, waterbucks and dik-diks, impala, elephants, lion, jackal, mongoose, zebras, hyenas, African hunting dogs, gazelle, buffalo, velvet monkeys, bat-eared fox, aardwolf.

Day 6:- Tsavo East/Mombasa

Early morning game drive return to your lodge for breakfast, after breakfast check out of the park then drive to Mombasa coast arriving early in the afternoon, in good time to find your way to the hotel.
